NYC 1978 WTC

Okay, you have to promise not to laugh at this page. It was a different time. I had hair. Gary found these photos while he was cleaning out his garage and scanned them for me.

In 1978, Mom and Dad took my brother, Gary, and me to New York City and Washington DC. One of the places we visited no longer exists.

From either the Staten Island Ferry or the boat to the Statue of Liberty.

From Battery Park.

It's hard to read, but that's "One World Trade Center" in the background above the door.

This is the "Sphere for Plaza Fountain," 1968-71, Fritz Koenig, Tobin Plaza at WTC. It apparently survived.

"That '70's Show," with Gary (left) and David and no backfat.

Another view of the statue in the plaza. Gary on the left, me on the right.

The observation deck.

Levi's Movin' On jeans.

The antenna.

I hate terrorists.
