A friend of mine knew someone in Councilman Mattox's office, and asked him about enacting an ordinance limiting the amount of cats one person can own. This was the same thing I asked Lingner in my original letter. Just like Lingner, they took the easy way out and sent an inspector to Roberta's house. This was several days after the inspector sent by Lingner's office, so the cat poop was already cleaned up. The letter states that.
They then further pass the buck by telling me that if I want an ordinance, I first have to go through the Neighborhood Preservation subcommittee. Apparently, a councilperson can't introduce anything of his own volition. At least Mattox responded to me. I never got a response from Lingner's office.
Here's the letter I got:
I guess it's cat trap city from here on out.
